# ClickUp Integration # ClickUp Integration Chronoid connects to ClickUp so your tasks become suggestions while you log time on your Mac, and so tracked time can flow back into ClickUp as real time entries. ## Create a Personal API Token 1. In ClickUp, open **Settings → Apps**. 2. Generate a personal API token. It starts with `pk_` and does not expire. 3. Copy it. In Chronoid, open **Settings → Integrations → ClickUp**, paste the token, and click **Test Connection**. The **Open ClickUp settings** button jumps straight to the right screen if you need it. ## Choose Which Lists to Import ClickUp organizes work into **Lists**, and that is what Chronoid imports from. Pick the lists you actually track against rather than the whole workspace — importing everything would bury the suggestions you want. Narrow the import further with: - **Only tasks assigned to me** - **Include completed tasks** (off by default) - **Only tasks updated in the last** 7, 30, or 90 days Click **Import now** for an immediate sync. After that Chronoid refreshes in the background roughly every 15 minutes. ## Link Time Entries to Tasks Start a time entry, type in the title field, and pick a ClickUp task from the suggestions. The entry is now linked to that task. Typing something that is not a task leaves the entry unlinked. ## Push Time Back to ClickUp ClickUp has real time tracking, so Chronoid uses it directly. With **Send my tracked time to ClickUp** on, Chronoid creates a ClickUp time entry on the task for each of your linked entries, and updates them when your tracked time changes — it never piles up duplicates. Only entries you linked to a ClickUp task are sent. Everything else stays on your Mac. ## Related Guides - [Task Integrations overview](/docs/integrations) - [monday.com integration](/docs/integrations/monday) - [Linear integration](/docs/integrations/linear) For help, email [support@chronoid.app](mailto:support@chronoid.app) --- Source: https://www.chronoid.app/docs/integrations/clickup
