# monday.com Integration

Chronoid connects to monday.com so your board items become suggestions while you log time on your Mac, and so your tracked hours can be written back onto the board your team watches.

## Create a Personal API Token

1. In monday.com, open your **avatar menu → Developers → My Access Tokens**.
2. Copy your personal API token.

In Chronoid, open **Settings → Integrations → monday.com**, paste the token, and click **Test Connection**.

Chronoid pins the monday.com API version it was built against, so a platform update cannot silently change what the integration does mid-release.

## Choose Which Boards to Import

monday.com organizes work into **Boards**, and that is what Chronoid imports from. Pick the boards you actually track against, then narrow with:

- **Only items assigned to me**
- **Include completed items** (off by default)
- **Only items updated in the last** 7, 30, or 90 days

Click **Import now** for an immediate sync; Chronoid then refreshes in the background roughly every 15 minutes.

## Link Time Entries to Items

Start a time entry, type in the title field, and pick a monday.com item from the suggestions. The entry is now linked to that item.

## Push Time Back to monday.com

monday.com's own time tracking column is read-only for apps, so Chronoid writes your **total tracked hours into a Numbers column you choose**.

1. Turn on **Send my tracked time to monday.com** and confirm.
2. Under **Destination column**, pick a Numbers column for each board you import from.

If a board has no Numbers column, Chronoid says so — add one on the board first, then pick it here. The value is a running total that Chronoid updates in place, so it never duplicates.

Only entries you linked to a monday.com item are sent.
