# What's New # What's New The What's New screen is a version-stamped window that appears after Chronoid updates to highlight notable changes. It gives you a quick overview of what has changed without having to dig through release notes. ## When It Appears After you update Chronoid to a newer version, the What's New screen opens automatically when the app launches. It only appears when there is new content to show for the version you just installed. If a release has no highlighted features, the screen is skipped entirely. ## What It Shows The screen is organized into a few clear sections: - the app icon and a "What's New in Chronoid" header with the current version - scrollable sections describing each highlighted feature - a footer with actions to continue Past releases have highlighted features such as Screen Time Sync, improved imported activity details, device filtering, and Safari URL enrichment. ## Footer Actions The footer at the bottom of the screen lets you move on or take a contextual action: - **Get Started** dismisses the screen and returns you to Chronoid - **Open Screen Time Settings** dismisses the screen and takes you straight to the Screen Time settings pane when a release introduces Screen Time features These contextual actions change depending on what is being highlighted. ## Reopen It Anytime If you dismissed the What's New screen and want to see it again later, you can reopen it from the menu bar under **Application → What's New**. The screen then appears exactly as it did after the update. ## Version History For the full version-by-version breakdown of fixes, improvements, and features, see the [Changelog](/docs/settings/updates).
