• Project Time Targets - Set a daily, weekly or monthly hour target for each project, and Chronoid will let you know once you reach it. Targets count manual time and sub-projects too, then reset automatically for the next period.

Improvements

• Meeting Titles and Projects Filled In - After a detected meeting ends, Chronoid suggests its title from the meeting window or, with calendar integration enabled, a closely overlapping calendar event. Zoom's meeting title is now read even when its window is simply named "Zoom Meeting". Your project rules run against the suggested title, so "ABC Weekly Standup" can arrive with project "ABC" already selected. If several calendar events overlap, you can choose the right one before clicking Log Meeting.
• Osaurus Conversations Are Named - Time tracked in Osaurus now uses the conversation title, so separate chats no longer blend into one generic entry.
• A More Focused Project Editor - Creating or editing a project is now easier to scan, with the important details grouped into a cleaner, roomier layout.

Bug Fixes

• Moving Activities Stays Within the Project You Selected - Reassigning activities from a project report no longer moves matching time that belongs to another project.
• Blocked Sites Return Correctly - When you choose to resume a blocked website, Chronoid now sends you back to the original page reliably.

Improvements

• Lighter Tracking While ChatGPT Is Open - Working out which ChatGPT conversation you are in now takes a small fraction of the work it used to, so leaving ChatGPT in front of you costs less battery.

Bug Fixes

• Conversation Names Work in Every Language - If Claude or ChatGPT is set to a language other than English, Chronoid could not tell which conversation you were in. Every Claude Code session was recorded as plain "Claude" with no project name, and ChatGPT time was filed without its project. Both are now named correctly whatever language the app is displayed in.

Improvements

• Gmail Entries Name the Person, Not Just the Subject - Time spent reading an email is now filed under who sent it, and time spent writing under who you are writing to — "Creem.io: You made a sale!" or "To Bob: Project update" rather than a bare subject line. A message you are still drafting is marked as a draft.

Bug Fixes

• Claude and ChatGPT Conversations Are Named Again - Both apps rebuilt their layout and Chronoid lost track of which conversation you were in. Every Claude session was recorded as plain "Claude", and ChatGPT time was filed under a stray sentence lifted from the middle of a reply. Both now show the conversation name and the project it belongs to, and reading them takes a fraction of the work it used to, so tracking is easier on the battery while either app is in front.
• Website Blocking Works in Dia Again - Sites you had blocked opened normally in the Dia browser instead of being redirected. Blocking now works there, and a browser that has refused Chronoid permission to control it is still sent to the blocking page rather than being left alone.
• A Way Past monday.com's "App Not Installed" Error - Connecting monday.com could stop on an error saying Chronoid is not installed on the account, with nothing to click and no way forward. Settings → Integrations now offers an install link you can use yourself, or forward to whoever administers your monday.com account — only an admin can install it.

Improvements

• Large Exports Stay Responsive - Now that nothing is left out, a year of activity makes a much bigger file. Chronoid builds it in the background and keeps the progress bar moving instead of locking up while it writes.

Bug Fixes

• Exports Include Every Hour You Tracked - Exporting with no project selected wrote out only the time you had already assigned to a project, so a CSV or PDF could hold a fraction of the hours shown in the report above it — one month came out as 153 of 203 hours, and far less for anyone who rarely assigns projects. Time with no project is now exported as "Uncategorized" and the totals match the report. If you want project time only, a new option in the export sheet leaves it out.
• Blocking a Website Leaves Your Clipboard Alone - Being sent away from a blocked site no longer replaces whatever you had copied, and no longer leaves entries from the blocking page in your clipboard history.
• One View Menu Instead of Two - The menu bar showed two "View" menus side by side. The navigation shortcuts now live in the one macOS provides.

New Features

• Connect ClickUp, monday.com and Linear - Settings → Integrations can now link Chronoid to the task tool you already work in. Pick which lists, boards or teams to pull from, and your tasks, items and issues become suggestions while you type a time entry — so an entry is attached to real work instead of a line of text you retyped. You can also send your tracked time back to the tool, and Chronoid updates what it already sent rather than piling up duplicates. Only entries you have linked to a task are ever sent, and nothing leaves your Mac until you turn that on.
• Duplicate a Project - Right-click a project in the sidebar and choose "Duplicate Project" to copy it along with its sub-projects and every rule behind them, so setting up a project that mirrors one you already have no longer means rebuilding the rules by hand. The copy starts with no tracked time — your history stays with the original.
• A Troubleshooting Report Worth Sending - Help → Troubleshooting now explains what tracking has actually been doing: whether it is running, why it went idle, which browsers have denied Chronoid permission, and whether your data is healthy. If you write in about something not being tracked, this is what tells us why. Window titles, addresses, file paths, keys and email addresses are deliberately left out.

• No "Trial Expired" Screen at Launch - Licensed users whose old trial had run out could see the trial-ended overlay for a few seconds each launch while the license was being checked. Chronoid now waits for the answer instead of assuming the worst.
• A Stuck Browser No Longer Freezes Chronoid - If a browser stopped answering — Chrome opening a sign-in popup, for instance — Chronoid could hang along with it. It now gives up on the browser and keeps tracking.
• AI Chat Works With Keys Pasted From an Email - An API key copied with an invisible line break at the end quietly failed with an authentication error that read like a Chronoid login problem. Keys are now tidied up when saved, existing ones are fixed on update, and a provider with no key at all points you to Settings → Providers instead of failing at the server.
• Stopping a Reply No Longer Shows an Error - Pressing Stop mid-answer said the request was cancelled and then claimed something had gone wrong. Sending a new message while one was still streaming also left the chat stuck with no way to stop it.

• Apple Intelligence Is Back as an AI Assistant - You can once again pick Apple Intelligence in Settings → Providers and chat with it about your time. It runs entirely on your Mac, needs no account or API key, and can look up your tracked time to answer questions — though it can only read your data, never change it. Because the on-device model is small, it works best with short, direct questions.

Improvements

• Clean Up Duplicate Rules in One Click - If your rule list has picked up identical copies of the same rule, the Rules Configurator now shows a "Resolve duplicates" button that removes the redundant copies safely. Your projects keep matching exactly the same activities as before — only the clutter goes.

Bug Fixes

• Project Rules No Longer Multiply - Dragging activities onto a project could create one identical rule for every matching entry, so a site you visited a few hundred times could leave a few hundred copies of the same rule. One rule is now created per site or app, and existing copies are reused instead of duplicated.
• Adding a Rule You Already Have Says So - Typing in a rule that already exists no longer adds a second copy. Chronoid now highlights the rule that already covers it and shows "Already added" instead.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed Chronoid Quitting While Connected to an AI Assistant - Chronoid could close on its own after several hours of being connected to claude.ai or ChatGPT, taking your tracking down with it until you opened it again. The connection now handles a dropped link quietly and reconnects instead.

New Features

• Use Claude Code or Codex as Your AI Assistant - Settings → Providers has a new "Agent CLI" option that lets Chronoid's chat run through a coding CLI you already have on your Mac, such as Claude Code or Codex. It answers on that tool's existing subscription, so there is no API key to create, paste, or pay for separately. Chronoid finds the command for you, and you can point it at any other command that reads a question and prints an answer.
• Full Access to Your Time Data - When you use an Agent CLI, it can look up your real tracked time to answer questions, the same way the built-in chat does — you can see each lookup as it happens, and turn the access off at any time.

Improvements

• More Ways to Pause Website Blocking - You can now pause blocking for 5 minutes, or set your own length from one minute up to a full day, alongside the existing options.
• A Clearer Export Sheet - Exporting now puts the choices first, grouped into cards for what will be written, the format, the options, and the days to include. The long list of columns and sections has moved into a "What's included" popover, so the Export button and your settings are no longer pushed off screen.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed Website Tracking in Arc - Chronoid records the websites you visit in Arc again. Since a recent update, time in Arc was saved as browser time only, with no website behind it, so those hours were missing from your site breakdowns and from any project rule that matches on a website.
• Fixed Wrong Website Addresses from Dia - Dia now records the page you are actually on. It previously saved whatever text happened to be on screen — a window title, or the wording on the new tab page — in place of the address. Dia also no longer jumps to the front while Chronoid is tracking.
• Stray Text No Longer Saved as a Website - When Chronoid cannot read the address from a browser, it now leaves the website blank instead of storing a stray line of on-screen text as though it were a site you visited.
• Fixed Your Mac Heating Up When Chronoid Is Closed - If you connect Chronoid to an AI assistant, your Mac no longer runs hot with its fans spinning while Chronoid itself is closed. The connection now stops cleanly instead of quietly using up a processor core in the background.
• Exports and Invoices Follow the Device Filter - Filtering a report to one Mac now changes what you get, not just what you see. The CSV, the PDF and the invoice used to include every paired device regardless, so a timesheet taken from a filtered report could bill hours that were never on screen. The export sheet also names the device filter in its header.
• The Billing Tab Follows the Device Filter - Project totals in the Billing tab now respect the device filter in the toolbar. With the toolbar set to This Mac, the breakdown still counted every paired device, so it could disagree with the sidebar beside it.
• Invoices No Longer Miss Your Sub-Projects - Marking a project as billable now covers everything filed underneath it. Previously each sub-project needed its own billable switch, so hours you could see counted under the parent project in the sidebar quietly never made it onto the invoice. Sub-projects also use the parent's hourly rate and currency unless you give them their own.
• Collapsed Projects No Longer Double Their Time - Closing a project that has sub-projects now shows the real total for the whole branch. It used to count every sub-project twice, so the time next to the folder jumped to roughly double the moment you collapsed it.
• The Same Hours Everywhere - The report heading, the CSV and PDF exports, and your invoice now all report the same total for the same project and dates. Exports used to add manual time entries on top of the app usage they replaced, inflating the total.
• Report Heading Matches the Sidebar - Selecting a project shows the same total as the folder you clicked, including manual time entries. When manual entries make that differ from the app usage listed below, Chronoid now says so instead of leaving the gap unexplained.
• Told When Hours Are Left Off an Invoice - Loading billable hours now warns you about projects that have tracked time in the range but aren't marked billable, so nothing disappears without explanation.

Improvements

• More Pause Options for the Website Blocker - You can now pause blocking for 5 minutes, or pick your own length from 1 minute up to 24 hours, instead of rounding up to 15 minutes for a quick detour. The new choices are available in Settings, the menu bar, and Shortcuts, and Chronoid remembers the custom length you last used.

• Re-upload Everything to iCloud - If your Macs ever drift out of sync, Settings → Sync now has an option to send a fresh copy of all your data to iCloud. Your other Macs pick it up automatically, and nothing on your Mac is changed.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed iCloud Sync Not Sharing Data Between Macs - iCloud sync now actually carries your activity between your Macs. Previously nothing ever reached iCloud, so each Mac kept showing only its own data even when sync looked like it was working. If a Mac still looks out of date, use the new re-upload option in Settings → Sync on the Mac with the most complete history.
• Sync Now Tells You When It Can't Upload - If iCloud refuses your changes, sync reports a problem and keeps retrying instead of quietly reporting everything is fine, and the device list no longer shows Macs that never actually reached iCloud.
• Fixed Crash When Changing Dates - Chronoid no longer quits unexpectedly while you browse your activity and move between days.

• Use Chronoid in claude.ai and ChatGPT - A new AI Connectors integration (Settings → Integrations) gives you a personal connector URL you can add to claude.ai or ChatGPT, so you can ask about your tracked time from the assistant you already use. Your data stays on your Mac: each question is answered live by the app over a secure outbound connection, and nothing is uploaded or stored elsewhere.
• Read-Only by Default for AI Connectors - Remote assistants can only read reports and activity unless you explicitly allow them to make changes. You can regenerate your connector URL at any time to revoke access.
• Multi-Device Sync - Keep your time data in sync across all your Macs through your private iCloud account. Devices no longer need to be online at the same time, and you can see and manage your paired devices from Settings.
• Shareable Report Cards - Turn any stats range into a polished image or short video card you can post or save, with themes, post and wide sizes, and a privacy-safe breakdown that hides whatever you don't want to show. • Redesigned Timeline - Activity now appears as session cards with app icons, durations, and top window titles. Hovering shows a time marker and exact span, the ruler adds finer tick marks as you zoom in, and clicking a session creates a manual time entry prefilled with its time range and title.
• Rebuilt Rule Editor - A single smart input now figures out the rule type from what you type or paste, suggests your installed apps, visited websites, and tracked folders, and shows how many recent activities a rule would match before you save it.
